We’re here because we believe in the power of a club, the community it creates, and the heart of it - the volunteers.
Our founder, Karl Friend, was working in a volunteer capacity for his local youth group and saw the need for a way to navigate and streamline the admin, by using a little automation. He put his software development skills into action and created the first ‘Friendly Manager’ system to sort out their volunteer scheduling.
From there, the Friendly Manager concept just grew, with friends adopting it for sports club management, and then many clubs following suit. In the past 5 years this little startup has pulled its socks up and grown and developed considerably, into what we believe is one of the most well specced club and organisation management software programmes available.
