In this session, we'll cover the essential steps to prepare your competition for scoring. First, you'll need to allocate game times and venues. Simply navigate to the "Competitions" section, select your division, and choose the "Game Times" tab to set these up.
Before creating the draw, make sure to allocate available game times. If the venue you need isn't available, add it as a global venue. Without the required times and venues, games will be pushed to the next week.
For example, if your games are on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 PM and 5 PM at generic park 1 and 2, select these options accordingly.
Once game times and venues are set, you can move on to setting up rounds. Click on the "Rounds" tab, add a round, and select the type you prefer. Options include round robin, casual, tournament, or grading.
After setting up rounds, organize teams into pools. Click the "Create Pools" button, specify the number of pools, and label them as desired. You can then drag and drop teams into the pools.
Next, create the draw by selecting the "Draw" tab and clicking "Generate Draw." Choose between single or double round robin, set the start date, and specify the duration. Once generated, you'll see the entire draw for your round robin competition.
You may also want to add single games if needed. Click on "Draw," then "Add Game," and fill in the necessary details, such as teams, date, time, and any additional information.
Remember to mark singular games as "friendly" if you don't want them included in the points table. This ensures they won't affect standings.
With everything set up, your competition is ready to begin. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out for assistance.
